When a family decided to move, they made a heartbreaking decision to leave their dog behind. Instead of finding a new home for their loyal pet or taking the dog with them, they tied the animal to a fence and left it there, abandoned and helpless.
The neglected dog was discovered by a kindhearted passerby who couldn’t ignore the animal’s plight. Alone and tied up with no food or water, the dog appeared frightened and confused. Fortunately, the rescuer acted quickly, untying the dog and contacting local animal services for help.
This act of abandonment has sparked outrage among animal lovers, who believe pets are lifelong commitments, not disposable possessions. The dog has since been taken to a shelter, where it is receiving care and attention. Efforts are now underway to find the dog a loving forever home where it will never have to face such cruelty again.
They said, “He receives daily laser therapy treatments on his neck wound and is also on medications for pain and infection. He is recovering nicely and is a sweet, happy, friendly dog.”
