On what was supposed to be a routine drive, Sebastian and his family came across an unexpected sight—a small, scared dog standing in the middle of the road. The tiny pup looked lost, helpless, and afraid, her fragile body trembling in fear. Without thinking twice, they pulled over to help her.
As they opened the car door, the little dog hesitated. Her wide, anxious eyes darted between them and the road, as if still hoping for a familiar presence to return. Once they arrived home, the little pup—whom they named Nala—was given a small outdoor area to rest. But she refused to stay there—she wanted to be near Sebastian. Realizing her need for comfort, he stayed with her for hours, watching as she hesitantly explored her surroundings.

The next morning, Sebastian’s determination grew stronger. He approached his mother with sincerity in his eyes. “Mom, we can take care of Nala together. She loves us, and we love her.”
His mother glanced at the little dog, who was gazing at them with trust and devotion. After a long pause, she took a deep breath and finally said, “Okay, you guys have a new puppy.”
Sebastian’s face lit up with joy. “Really?!” he exclaimed, running to scoop Nala into his arms. She responded by licking his face, as if she, too, understood that she had finally found her forever home.
In the weeks that followed, Nala transformed from a frightened stray into a joyful companion. She followed Sebastian everywhere, her tail wagging happily. She had found a family who loved her, and she would never have to be alone again.
