Now back home, Bristol is enjoying a life filled with love, activity, and unfettered freedom. As of April 5, 2025, she celebrated her ninth birthday surrounded by a lively farm family that includes other dogs, a handful of affectionate cats, and a lot of playful miniature donkeys. These donkeys even join in special events like weddings and community photo shoots, showing just how vibrant Bristol’s new environment is.
In fact, Savannah and her family have raised approximately ten guide dogs over the years. But only two, including Bristol, have returned home. Their story is a touching example of the emotional reward that comes from giving selflessly and reconnecting under extraordinary circumstances.
