Fleur, a 10-year-old blind Bichon Frise, had been under the loving care of Stewart’s family during her hospital stay. Despite knowing Fleur was safe, Stewart couldn’t shake the fear that the passage of time might have dulled their unique connection.

Fleur’s background is one marked by resilience. Adopted in 2022 via Dogs Trust, she had endured the painful loss of both eyes due to glaucoma. Stewart turned to social media for support and within 24 hours, Fleur’s followers raised the funds needed for surgery. This marked the beginning of her life transformation and proved how social communities can rally around a cause with compassion.
