Every morning at the Central Missouri Humane Society, the diligent cleaning staff arrives early to prepare the facility before the shelter welcomes its visitors. Recently, a heartwarming incident unfolded when one of these cleaners was concluding his routine tasks. He made his way to the dumpsters to dispose of the trash when he happened upon an unusual find—a box labeled “mandarins” with an unexpected and heartwarming surprise inside.
Inside the box was an entire fuzzy family—a mama cat and her four tiny kittens. The concerned cleaner quickly relayed the discovery to the shelter staff, who had just arrived for the day. The manager promptly retrieved a carrier, while Camryn Long, the digital marketing and fundraising coordinator, rushed outside to ensure the safety of the newfound family.
A Surprising Discovery
